What is art?
What is science?
What is an artist?
What is a scientist?
Where do art and science converge and diverge?

Crossroads was developed by the Met and features hands-on, interactive stations exploring the intersections between art and science. The unique exhibition is part of the Museum’s long-term mission to explore more deeply the intersections, the meeting points and the connections between art and science. The exhibition will feature four interactive activity stations, a video documentary featuring art and science professionals, a library and computer kiosk, an art gallery, and an interactive “mind map."

One of the primary goals of the current edition of Crossroads is to provide activity stations and reflective areas that raise fundamental questions: What is art? What is science? What is an artist? What is a scientist? Where do art and science converge and diverge, meet and depart?

Visitors are encouraged to participate in an ongoing dialogue about these topics through on-site conversations, a blog station, comment cards, and chalkboards.
